This green space of great beauty in the western Pyrenees of Navarra is on the banks of the River Bidasoa. It is one of the few places in Spain which provides a habitat for seven species of the woodpeckers to be found in the Iberian Peninsula. This is a sign of the excellent conservation of this nature reserve as these birds only live in mature woodland where large well-preserved trees are to be found. Several paths of varying length and steepness will allow you to enjoy the different shades of this Atlantic woodland.
