Béjar. Old Town

Between Salamanca and Cáceres lies the town of Béjar which is surrounded by the sierra of the same name. The Sierra de Béjar is covered with chestnut trees, upland shrubs, and an important variety of flora all over the massif. Its strategic location means that it has been inhabited by Romans, Arabs, Jews, and Christians and has a historical legacy of churches, alleyways, and small plazas.
